Data Visualization: Flow of Time
An analysis of the layout of a selection from one issue of Time magazine, Flow of Time translates area and occurrence of image, text, and graphics from page layout into music.
Using the y-axis of the page to produce note length and the x-axis to produce pitch, a cohesive sheet of music that 'plays' the layout of the magazine can be created as one approach to data visualization.
